Mill Creek Park and Lake

Stocking of Mill Creek Lake started in the spring of 1980 by the Illinois Department of Conservation. The lake has been stocked with the following: muskie, largemouth bass, walleye, channel cat, redear, bluegill, and black and white crappie. Mill Creek Lake has excellent fishing opportunities and anglers have been very impressed with the largemouth bass. Night crawlers and wax worms are available to purchase at the gatehouse.
